Best tournament since i can remember for the record

----------------------Boruc-----------------------------
----------------------------------------------------------
-Bosingwa-----Puyol-------Pepe-------Zhirkov----
----------------------------------------------------------
----------------------Senna-----------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------
----Iniesta-------------------------------Arda---------
-----------------------------------------------------------
----------------------Arshavin---------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------
---------Van Nistelrooy-------Villa--------------------

Also thought Casillas and Lahm both played well as did the entire Russian and Dutch teams in patches. Spain were consistently the best team throughout though imo.

i'd agree with you there, though i think buffon would have a strong shout for 'keeper....and sergio ramos for full back, he was superb last night.

i notice how no germans are in that team, and good thing too.

Yeah Buffon would be in there for me, although saying that also think Casillas made some great saves.

Ramos would 100% be in there, was much much better than Bosingwa IMO.

Also liked that Schweinsteiger.

The main thing i noticed was how once again the 'best player in the world' failed to impress against world class opposition!!

Casillas was brilliant as were most of the spanish team. Sneijder was superb for Holland and Schweinsteiger stood out for me on the german team.

Out of interest, seeing how teams played. How well do you think England would have done??

I never liked Ramos but thought he was superb for Spain all the way through. Also thought Sneijder, Schweinsteiger and Modric were excellent.
