There is no truth, they are like marmite, u either love it or u hate it.

Put mine back on yesterday, cos i got bored, just makes a noise and makes car lumpy when slowing down.

nah, its mechanical fuel injection, so the fuel injection head is attached to the top of the airbox!

gambit my mate has a golf gti,didnt think there was a induction kit,but phoned demond tweeks they do a piper x filter sounds the dogs!

The thing with induction kits is people only moan when they dont make any noise (people who own 1.2's) they sound wicked with 1.4s and 1.6s

Some cars sound different with induction kits. 1.4 and 1.6 Sports sound lurrvelly with them. Others do not get the same roar from them. Depends on engine really.
