ive bought some lowering springs the other day and went to have them fitted, now im finding out that they dont fit and that i may have to buy some shortening shock absorbers

if this is true can somebody point in the right deirection of some shorter shock absorbers, there for -60mm springs if that helps?

Are the springs chopped? If not, they should fit regardless of what shock absorbers you have. But standard shocks with -60mm springs will be a tad booncey!

Were they new or 2nd hand? with -60mm you do need shorter shocks as it will be bouncy as fook If they were 2nd hand springs? then they are prob nova ones so will be lower than -60 on a corsa so wont sit tight in the standard corsa struts

there gonna be shorter if your using orignal shocks hense the word "lowering springs" i.e there lower.try fitting them to the originals and if not you will need some smaller shocks like the make of the spring

Technically this shouldn't happen, i remember Dave A saying standard shock bottom out at 65mm - giving you that whole massive 5mm of travel!

Was going to get 60mm springs but then full 60mm gmax kit and then bilstein 55mm kit but have ended up with Gaz silver coilovers lol. 80mm fixed rear (want adjuster cups to raise to 60mm) and adjustable fronts
Cant wait for the weekend trip to my mates garage
Keep it 80mm on alesio's? or raise it a little?
