Ive just bought a clio 182, yeah i know its not a corsa just ppl on here have always been helpful and after having it for about a week the oxygen sensor light lit up on the dash.
I took it to renault and they replaced the sensor under warranty.
My problem is that my exhaust blows slightly on tick over.
I know its not really a problem its just my old 1.6 corsa did exactly the same and i thought i wouldnt have this problem with a 2 year old car
After reading up this seems related to the 02 sensor which ive just had replaced with a brand new one!?!?
So why is it doing this!!!!!
Can anyone tell me if this is normal for a big engine? I asked the guys a renault and they said it is.
Cheers

I asked them while i was there and the guy i asked said he's got the same car and his does the same. Do u reckon he only said that to get rid of me?
Do u know what causes a car to burn rich?
thanks

1: Yes; ridiculous to suggest that a blowing exhaust is normal.
2: Problems with Air/Fuel Ratios. For which there ma be many reasons. tbh. I reckon sorting the blowing exhaust might go some way to rectifying this problem! Take it to another garage, the original garage sounds like is not worth your business!
