When im in neutral or doing 0 mph basically stood still
Rev counter goes up to 2000 revs doesnt pull or ought just sound has if engine is going but its not
What can this mean all help will be respected !!
Also engine managment light keeps coming on im getting it put on commy tomorrow Could this be to do with the rev counter reving so high???

Yeah it could be should idle at around 600-800 rpm,

Haven't you just bought the car?
If you bought it from a garage I'd go have some frickin words with em cos it'd be under warranty.(or at least mine was when I got it)

Bought it private getting it fully serviced, mot'ed, new cam belt, oil flush, new plugs, new zaust, basically full service but with a few extras
Its going on computer for rev counter
I only paid 1700 for it so i wud expect a few probs
Spent 3 hours cleaning it inside and out looks mint just needs my system putting in might do it tonight when i get car back

1700 is a good price and if you spend another £300 odd on the service and bits then its still a good price.

mention throttle position sensor matey to ppl servicin it get em to read the fault 2

Right got it all sorted cost me 635
But thinks its had done
New Loud s/s exhaust back box
New cam belt and bits to go with it
Full service
MOT
Some welding (Due to a bit of rust)
Engine flush
Oil flush
New Oil
All bits and bobs toped up
Rev counter sorted cos it was ideling at 1500 revs
Being on computer Cos managment light came on Due to the above!!
So basically everything
