One on the first vid seems like 10 4 10 10.
Which would be code 0400 - EGR valve fault.
The second one........ain't a clue, goes on a benny. Only ever seen that when my immobiliser went woop woop.

I had a feeling it would be the egr valve because guess what... thats what the problem was before, so i got it replaced with a brand new one and now whenever i go on a longish motorway drive ( bout 40 mins driving ) the ecu light comes on If i turn the ignition off and back on again the light goes off. Then it only takes about 20 mins to come back on!! Anyone got any ideas on what i should do???

Mine did that, but it never ran funny or anything.
Blank it off, see if that solves it.

Yeah it still runs fine, it just lights up on the dash.
The problem is that i need to sell the car but if i sell it like it is ill loose loads on it.
Its a pain in the ar$e!! Do u reckon the lambda sensor/ ICV/ coolant temp sensor/ air temp sensor/ or any other sensors could be related or worth replacing. thanks

If the search button was working there would be something here.
But, it has gone for repair.
The EGR is a coke can shaped thing down the back of the inlet. Take it off, then cut a coke can the same shape as the gasket. But without a hole in the middle.
Then put back together.
Easy when you see it really.

Dont u need to get the ecu re-mapped? Also doesnt it make ur car guzzle more petrol? My car runs rough at idle. Do u think this is related to the egr valve? Im thinking about replacing loads of sensor to see if it fixes the problem.

No, don't need mapped. Nope, shouldn't affect petrol. Rough idle, most probably the problem.
Loads of sensors, dont' bother. Cheaper to try blocking this off and see how it goes coz it's free to DIY.
