jus randomly cut out now not firing up just keeps turning over, what should i look at? common problems?

ive checked the dizzy and leads and there fine not looked at plugs yet tho.

suggestions?

whats best way to check for fuel?

obv testin plugs on rocker best way for spark?

wheres the crank sensor situated?

Fuel - Turn car ignition on. Press bleed valve on fuel rail. Fuel should spurt out.

Plugs - On rocker.

Crank sensor - In previous reply.

right checked everything over, no fuel coming out on bleed valve on fuel rail so obv getting no petrol, checked the relay but it wasnt burnt out, so im guessing pumps dead?

If the Fuel Pump relay is fucked the EML wont come on with ignition.

If the EML normally does come on with the ignition then id look at changing the fuel pump relay 1st mate.

Or (as it was on mine) the ECU wasnt getting power due to a wire shorting out.

It'll be under the scuttle panel. Purple relay iirc.

Cause mines had a conversion john theres nothing behind the plastic in the drivers footwell

How can i test that the fuel pump is getting power?

Think ive found my fuel relay now was run all the way along the back of the bulkhead behind the battery lol can ppl confirm? looks dead anyway cause of all the green aroud the prongs if you can see it.
