£10 off all SLRS and 10% off all compacts for 1 week only! The business has really been feeling the crunch lately and they are going to any lengths for a sale so dont be sucked into anything! If you are planning on taking out an extended warranty its worth asking if they can do it any cheaper. You wouldnt believe how annoying it is though when customers ask for stuff to be 'thrown in'! Best deal at the moment in the way of compacts probably the Olympus C560 for £129.99.

Yeah. Only a manager will just throw in a memory card. I wouldnt just ask for it though, its not a charity shop! Basically when we scan a camera we get a list of extras we can discount with the camera and thats it. We make out profit on all the extras that go with the camera though so sales people will try and get you to buy more. If you want discount just say some thing like 'If I take the extended warranty will you throw in a memory card' Because really the warranty is the only thing we can manually discount, but wil be worth it in the long run for your sake.

Oh and they dont admit they are struggling, in fact head office is lying to us about securing the company financially. Nothings for certain.

Jessops aren't going to disappear any time soon. They are 'struggling' just as much as any other company.
No reason not to buy from there (except the high prices )

I wouldnt be so sure, head office has confirmed they have secured a loan with the bank to cover them financially for the next 3 years. Most of the store managers arent buying it though. With their current profits not covering loan repayments it could be any time the bank close their doors.
