My petrol tank is leaking on my Vectra, is it a ballache of a job to do? Cant really be arsed and may just pay to get it done if its alot of hassle. Also are the tanks on ebay going to be a cheap copy and harder to fit?

Its a doddle to change mate.
De-Pressurise the tank 1st (i didnt bother in the corsa tho)
Inside Car:
Rear bench up
Plastic Cap off
Wiring plug off
2x Pipes off
Tap locking seal undone
lid off
Pump out
Pump housing out
Swap pump and housing into new tank
Underneath Car:
3x Pipes off tank
unbolt 2 straps holding the tank up
lower tank
rinse new tank out with petrol so theres no crap in it
then do the above in reverse to fit your new tank
Sorted

Mine was an ebay one and it was a perfect fit.
Its worth painting the tank before you fit it to give it a bit extra protection from the elements too.
Also, having a 2nd pair of hands while lowering and fitting the tank makes it 10x easier so get a mate round to help.
