Seen this on MRC, there's one in Norway being built at the moment with a peripheral port and big single, will be about 700bhp with a 10k limit. Mental.

You get stock, bridge, halfbridge, street and peripheral ports. PPs are when the ports are located on the rotor end plates and feed in sideways if you get me. Normal ports are on the rotor housing.
The way the engines are constructed means there is a limit on how big you can make normal ports, PPs you can go much bigger.
