Safe? I know it wont go off in a crash, but will it go off randomly or anything?

Leave it 30mins after unplugging it to let it discharge. Should be fine after.

I have one lying on my garage floor and it's not went off.

Vauxhall and i'm sure every other garage don't bother taking any precautions with them tbh.

I had mine on and off multiple times wile swapping the wheel over on my clio and never took the battery out.
