pulled my finger out tonight and got the sump off. no signs of any swarf. sived the oil also and thats ok. removed the relief valve and will clean that up propperly at work 2mo. started it up to move it earlier and considering it hasnt been used for nearly 2weeks it started up on the button, idled on its own with out diein and didnt rattle one bit.

lol. its all back together again now and its all defo cleaned out. used works oil pressure gauge and its all ok. looks like its on the gauge front. poss the sender unit? thats the next thing to check. what a way to spend a glorious sat

new bumpers are here and fitted, same with exhaust cause i felt like a change lol. so much for savin money and tryin to sell it. i think i love it again lol.
750miles left to run it in now
next up is new cv boots on sat

This has to be one of my favorite corsa's, the looks, power and the fact it breaks down all the time. I nah that feeling like.lol. I first saw this car in TV and it inspired a change in direction for my own corsa.
I really hope you dont sell it cos you can tell by reading this wip that you love this car and i think every one else who has read this wants you to get a bit of luck and see it running properly and for a long time.
keep your chin up mate and you'll get there.

there wont be any pics of it till pvs. all im gona say is it looks perfect. ive had a really good offer on selling it as i was looking at gettin a mk5 astra 5dr sri 1.9cdti (150) in black through work for £7500 with only 31jk on the clock but it would put me in far too much debt.
instead of selling the car im looking into selling the engine and the throttle bodies etc and mayb going down the route of a let?

still goin strong! gotta be the longest lol. changed the engine oil + filter today and now tryin out some 15/40 oil to see if i can reduce the rattle abit more when its hot.
