hi guys
went to open my bonnet yesterday and when i pull the lever it wont click the catch open to actually open the bonnet.
what do i do ???

My mate's got the same problem with his 1.2 trip.
Most likely thing is that the cable has come away from the handle - pop the handle off and get in there with a pair of needle-nosed pliers or similair and try pull the cable.
Alternatively take off the kick panel and it'll be behind it I'd think.

hasnt come off the handle i dont think as i got down to have a look,
when i pull then handle theres no tension...
feels like its come off whatever it's connected to underneath the bonnet

my old one used to do this, when i pulled the handle it would click but the bonnet would not raise, so you push on the opening handle and just pull it up the way forcefully.

pull the lever as normal... then go to bonnet an get ur hand on the little catch and just keep pullin the bonnet up and down up and down and it should pop up, atleast my old one did.
