Ordered myself 2 backboxes a few weeks ago (Twin 3” Slash Cut), as today and tomorrow I was going to make myself a custom system to fit them.
Great I though, the boxes should both be in today, so went to the place where I ordered them, and found out they only ordered 1 as they said that’s all I need as Corsa’s only have 1 exit.
Muppets I thought, so I said I was making up a twin exit system, and it took me nearly half an hour to explain to them it can be done on the Corsa, I even had to draw them a farkin picture!!
Result though, got both backboxes for £80 each, instead of £100 which was the marked price, but I’ve gota wait now about 2-3 weeks for the other one to come in
So tomorrow I’m going to make the pipework up ready for 2 boxes, but block one end off till the other arrives…
Wish me luck!!!

OK Sorted!

£1500 conversion
Get big brakes (310mm Hi-Specs are nice)
Subtle subtle kit, smooth it off so its nice
£2k throttle bodies
Spend another £2k on head work, cams, exhaust, etc etc

So get £10k instead and make it a mentally fast subtle beast.

PS, dont forget the bucket seats and rollcage

And? This is the prediciment i had.

One sentance made me do it from an old work friend who had no interest in cars.

You could die tomorrow, your get older and have kids, wont be able to afford it then, so do it now while u can.

Sod the future. If u can afford £x amount per month, look at getting a loan and do it all in one go rather than stages!

I've got a fair sized loan, but not as much as most would think, and i've got 2 scootas (one brand new, 200cc 4 stroke, £2650), D4, all the bodywork, ICE, and engine bits, i pay quite a bit each month to cover the morgage at home (just me n mother) and im doing alright still.

U need to work out what u can afford, but making sure u still have enough to live your life (go out on the piss, weekends away, clothes etc).

Sort that out and ur laughing. Dont be worried about loans.

PS, search around also. My first loan was with my bank @ 13.9%, im now with Egg and cleared my other loan and now only have a 7.9% loan interest repayment!

The loan on my car runs out in September so I will be getting another loan as soon as thats gone. Was paying off £300 per month on that loan so with the extra money I'm just gonna blow it on another one.

Mind you, I'm not saying what I'm gonna do with the money. Thats gonna be a big suprise!
