Anyone care to advise me as to the easiest method off wiring up my newly purchased chrome led washer jets ?? would obviously prefer them to be made switchable and not just permantly lit alongside the headlights so what wiring to where ?? and what extra switches, etc are needed to enable this ??

Do realise that led washer jets are a bit off a laugh in some folks eyes but on my black car the chrome jets does look kinda good and can always keep them switched off, hence the above question !!

any help or advice on the above would be appreciatted.

cheers,
john...

I also dislike them but can someone answer the poor guys question.

He's after a sensible answer and as he says in his post he knows some people think they're a joke.

If I was good with electrics i'd help.

I'm gyessing you just put a switch somewhere in the dash (e.g. down by the foglight switch). You run the live wire to the switch, the nto the jets, and the the negative back from the jets to the battery.

im guessing - (never seen them to know for sure) theres 2 wires coming off them??

if so - one wire needs to go to an earthing point, and the other wire to a live via a switch whereever u wish to put it

you cold wire in a switch just attach a lenght of wire to the washer and put it throught the bulkhead and postion the switch were you want. then run another wire from the switch to the battery. hope this makes some sort of sence
