Right basically got a JVC headunit plugged in. Running a sub and amp,
problem is when i turn the key to |, ||, or running it wont come on, but when i push they key in further it comes on
help needed asap!

swap the cables over so its not runing off the igntion,but the battery,not key needed, that what i have done with mine

Fancy sticking it in a u2u mate? No exactly wire minded.. like what cables where go etc.. would be much apprecated

swap the yellow and red over....so it goes red to yellow instead of red to red and vice versa

it is, but with red - red and yellow - yellow it will not hold settigns in its memory (radio stations, volume settings etc)
EDIT: Plus running a sub and amp without the engine running will drain the battery quite quickly in my experience

Check your connections again if its just stopped working out of the blue. Something could have worked loose

check the fuses on the rear hu and amp
