One of the best value pieces of equipment i've got.

Currys sell the exact same one for 60.

Cheap Velbon from John Lewis - £20 I think.

Also got a Manfrotto monopod which is a great bit of kit

I will add though, whilst my cheap one is good for what I've used it for, a heavier, more expensive version would be really useful.

Particularly on long exposures where the extra weight and strength will stop the minor vibrations which degrade the images.

i got a cheap argos one

it's very light, but does have a hook on the bottom to add weight, to stabalise it, for the above reason's aPk mentioned

I nicked a jessops one from my uni, it gets proper abused. Does the job though, just try to avoid high winds lol.

I've got a Benbo 1 paired with a Manfrotto 141RC head - about £220 quids worth in total, solid as a rock though and ultimately flexible.
