Champions league is just a name ffs get over it, who would want to watch teams from shitty countries get knocked out at the same stage every year it'd be a farce!
Why would it be a farce?
Tell me why a team from Belgium shouldn't get to play against the the other teams despite winning the League, yet a team like Liverpool, who didn't, do
Can you not read?
I'm not quite sure why you give a shit anyway

I give a shit becuase it's unfair, & just another way of the powers that be spoiling football for the "smaller clubs"
Fair enough they may lose for the first few seasons, but in these few seasons they will imporove as they will have been playing against better teams. They will have also earned some money so will have been able to buy better players, which in turn would help them compete on the European Stage.
Way its going UEFA may as well just hand pick a few teams they who they think will make them the most money. then just put them in the Champions League regardless of where they finish in the league

Because he thinks the premiership is the spawn of satan, and League one is the greatest in the world, and they should be getting all the money
The reason belgian teams have to qualify, is down to the quality of the league, they are basically championship quality leagues, so based on that, it would be similar to West Brom being in europe this season

It’s not their fault the leagues aint as good. Maybe if the teams were given a bit more of a chance to compete they would improve. Would take a while but within time it would improve the whole competition, and make it fairer for everyone who actually earns the right to play in it, instead of getting there by being a "big name"

Whos fault is it then?!
You still see some teams from poor leagues makign it through the qualifiers on occasion
Its also not the EPL/La Ligas etc fault that they built their leagues up to be the best in the world!

Did the belgian champions not get a chance to prove they were good enough to get into the CL last night? I see what you are saying to a certain degree but it's not just down to uefa it's down to support in there own country, there economy etc etc. They aren't gonna get past the champions of england, spain, italy, germany etc based on the extra £12m or so revenue they would get every year (if they won their home league every year) it simply wouldn't tip the balance enough.
