Lots of Blue Smoke from my x16xe. I know it uses abit of oil but smells rich what could that be? cat? no eml lights or anything! could it be lambda?

mate i think your burning oil - could be over filled....oil seals could be on there way out!

Just make sure you check it every week

Mine had this problem until very recently, I had a new map sensor fitted and after a quick blast down the dual carriageway to clear out the unburnt fuel it seems fine now.

normal problem on this engine mate

probably rings or valve stem seals at a guess
