Got back from a day at Barkston Heath yesterday watching my boyfriend compete in his RAF Project Pug 205. I took my camera with me and have taken absolutely LOADS of photos (About 700 in total)...................and I have been asked if I can share some of them for publishing.
Obviously I do not want somebody else taking credit for my photos so I was wondering if anybody knew where I stand with copyrighting them. If I was to put a logo on the bottom of the photos would that be enough to prevent somebody else claiming it as their own? (it's easy enough to crop off the bottom I'd have thought)
With this in mind, would somebody be kind enough to design me a logo I can use to copyright my photos?
Any advice people can give me would be most appreciated.
Thanks

Technically you already have copyright over the photos being as you created them. All the logo means is that someone has to take 2 minutes cropping it off.

if you dont want someone to use them put a watermark in the middle (but make it really see through but still noticable if that makes sense). if you do it at the bottom then like you say its easy to crop off, but over the middle of the image its harder to get rid of.
could just use your name instead of a logo.

If you don't want people to use them just say no.
Whats the point in putting a watermark on the pictures as this will ruin them.

Because people will still use them. If you do the watermark right it wont ruin the pictures.
