Started looking into AV stuff lately (see here: http://www.corsasport.co.uk/board/viewthread.php?tid=450314)

Been browsing AV Forums a lot and have decided that after an initial budget of £300, I actually want the following:

Buy decent gear but don't for one minute be fooled by expensive cabling whether somebody with too much money on avforums says its worth it or not.

don't got stupidly cheap on cable and use bell wire for speaker cable, but yeah no point splashing out 100's on interconnects etc

FYI; You can get AV receivers from £150 with HDMI interface.

It's not so much the interface, it's the True HD decoders I was interested in.

I know there is a fairly cheap Onkyo All-In-One but I have heard that Onkyos don't get on very well with PS3s.

Plus the Denon looks so much better!
