Im going to take of the badges on my corsa, so just wondering, if i use a heat gun, im not in danger of cracking the paint or anything am i?

Best off using glue and tar remover in my opinion, id be scared to use a heatgun

get the badges off then use white spirits to get the gooey black bits off

yes mate, i used a hair dryer to take a rubbing strip off and it worked a treat

boil the kettle and pour the water over the badges, then slide something fine behind them and remove the rest with glue / tar remover then give a good polish, and wax to get rid of any shit left on your paint

to get my badges off i used boiling hot water and and old credit card, works wonders, then used WD40 to get all the glue off, now its nice and clean =]

Hot water so soften the glue, pull them off and use a pencil rubber to get rid of the excess.

No,

I used a heat gun, worked perfectly. Didn't damage the paint or anything. Also used boiling water and a small piece of garden twine.

boil your kettle pour over slowly and peel with fingwers, then poor anothe rover and use card to get and shite bits off

I used a hair dryer when I needed to move the "i" badge down a bit, worked fine. If there's glue and stuff left then white spirit is fine, doesnt' damage the paint at all.

You would be alright with a heat gun as long as you don't have it too close, and don't touch the badges directly - they get hot, as I learned the hard way

some fishing wire:O use a sawing movement badge should come off no damage to paint ... just get a bita petrol or tar remover and some elbow grease and that should do it

This is how I do it every time before a respray and then toffee wheel the tape crap off and then clean up any residue with prep-sol or white spirit

I did this a scooled (sp) my paint looked like it had boils and spots on my old corsa lol
