Arsenal have been linked with a move for Stephen Appiah as he is out of contract so available after the transfer deadline.
He could be what we need in midfield alongside Cesc. He's a big unit, although I think he's injury prone.

He was quality in the world cup 2006 in beside Essien, i thought a bigger side would have taken him them.
Coming off the back of breathing problems from botched surgery i don't know if he'd be worth the gamble!
