Sold my 360 to get a PS3, 360 was an expensive DVD player, now the PS3 is an even more expensive one. God knows why I bought either, cant be arsed with games, waiting for full version of GT5 though.

^^ That's why i'm sellin my 360. Never play on it. Can just download the games for the PC for free and use the 360 joypads anyway, no difference.

They have dropped to $199, don't know how long it'll take to filter through to here.
Since they've reached the peak with graphics you'll also need to buy a ps3 then the new sub par xbox when it comes out.

I was always a PS fan... loved it... and thought I'd never go over to the xbox side. I remember the build up to the xmas release for the PS3 but then heard that they had pushed it out again until March. Then I saw the TV ads for Gears of War and I was like  I've got to get myself a newt generation console... so went and got myself a 360 and never looked back
I own both consoles now but have only played on the ps3 for about 4 hours in total in like 7 months... whereas I spend on average 7-8 hours playing on the xbox 360 - I must admit that this is down to COD4 and its awesome online gameplay!
I prefer the 360 controllers and also the look of the xbox. Of course its got its downfalls - noisey, power pack outside of the console. I've already experienced the ring of death  but I was so impressed with the customer service! UPS came and picked the console up the next day and 9 days later it was back   ... all free of charge by the way!
go for the 360 if you ask me

Playstation 3 for me, but one of the major reasons why is GT5, i LOVE the gran turismo series have done sice no.3 and GT5 with a wheel is just bliss.
i cant say ive tried much on the 360 other than PGR and i wasnt really that impressed.
some games are only for xbox some just for ps3..
