227bhp @ 5500rpm
229lb ft @ 3000rpm

1220kg

189bhp per tonne

147mph

So the Civic is "slightly" quicker top end, better power to weight, but the Megane has loads more torque.

On a racetrack, i'd say the Honda.

On the road. The megane.....

*puts fire proof suit on*

i think it looks horrible, and if the engine is like an integra type r is is crap how you have to drive 100% balls out to have fun and make progress.

Same engine, different cams, more head work.

Basically like an XE, then putting a fiilter, exhaust, remap, and some different cams in different....

But still, £32k, for a car that if it breaks, you have to prove you own, and on the road is still slow in its class.....

ANd if your after a track car, well, £32k puts you in Radical/Atom territory...

Civic, or Atom..... Hmmmmmmmmm

Megan has

GKN Limited Slip

The only reason its the fastest at the ring is cos its stripped out to hell, has a roll cage, and weighs 200kg less than the other cars. Same power, but with a diff...

Still only 147mph top end though.

I'd much rather the new 300bhp Focus RS coming out.
