Same here. I've had 2 sets of ipod ear phones which have lost sound in 1 ear ... and my current set, the rubber has just fallen away from the ear piece, so when I go to remove the ear phone it leaves the speaker etc in my ear, and the rest of the wire / plastic comes off in my hand.
I may buy those white ones however i don't like how deep they look (ipod ear phones are quite flat) - I need some for my travelling.
