Like Vodaphone, can you just ring Orange up and ask them to unlock a phone for you? I might be able to buy an unwanted upgrade from someone (N95 8GB) but locked to Orange thats all

How do i get that? Im reading forums and people are saying orange dont unlock phones anymore if you arent the first user of the phone?

i rang Orange and they tried to charge me £50 to unlock my old phone. Took it to a guy in town in the end, did it for £15

I went in to my local phone accessory shop and the guy said he can unlock them, but he has to send it off to some Spanish company and it takes 3 or 4 days and costs £35 He said because it is an N series phone....I dont want some market trader fucking it up for me if they really cant do it?
