On PAYG? Ive had a quick butchers on google and nothing seems to be concrete. Im still looking into contract phones but dont want to waste the credit ive got on my o2 PAYG contract unless i really have to

If it's on o2 they should be able to carry the credit over to the contract.
I know they definitely do if you are moving your number over to a contract.

I think I would be getting a different number as I wouldnt be going through o2 shop / online, its through one of the 3rd party mobile websites....
When you say carry the credit over, does that mean it works the same as my gas / leccy bills, i.e. use the remaining credit to pay say half of my first bill for me?

Nah im good thanks, it wouldnt last 10 minutes on those things Ive managed to sort out possibly porting a number over to my new contract and using the credit to pay a bill, like John said
