Hi all, got my first instalment of my student loan through friday and paid jessops a visit to get my new camera, I opted in the end for the Canon EOS 40D, im really impressed so far with a few shots, wasnt originally going to pay as much as I ended up paying for a camera but as my degree is in photography i saw it as an investment.
Just wanted to know who else uses or has used the 40D and any useful things to know about it?
thanks
Tom

Good choice, bad time though. Should have waiting a month or so, 50D is out very soon is not already and the 40D prices will almost certainly drop.

Yeah the timing was pretty bad but needed a new camera now at the start of my course so I can learn to get used to it so didnt really have a choice, so far im happy with it.

Nah didnt mean it liek that at all...I can see where your coming from given the choice I would have waited and sat it out til the prices dropped down
