Been looking for a 5.1 speaker system to connect upto my PS3 in my bedroom. Now most of the 'Home Cinema' packages come with a dvd player which I don't need as I'll be using my PS3.
So what I'm after is an Amp and Speakers that will play 5.1 in Dolby/DTS for under £300 as its only for my bedroom.
I've seen this Sony one for £240 and wondered if it is any good?
I'm a complete noob to this Home cinema shit so any help is apprciated!

I got a Creative erm... thing.... Megaworks 510D ages ago, and the sound is brilliant on it, was only £60 off eBay, think it was re-conned though, it's a bit ropey now, but that's only because of a dodgy volume wire, just need a new volume thing.
tbf, for sub-£300 you'll be looking at the top of the creative range which would sound perfect i'd imagine

i got this setup, it has the all important optical input which you need if your going to use your ps3 surround sound.
