iv changed my mirrors on my astra to the early type ones but they are electric and i havnt wired up them so they cant be adjusted yet..
would this fail an mot? need to get it moted this week see

shouldnt do my dtm's dont adjust and i got through MOT last week

i wouldnt have thought so aslong as they can be adjusted by pushing the mirror. things lioke lorrys have no internal adjuster. i think youl be safe

ok cheers.. what about if you have a break light in the spoiler which isnt standard but doesnt work?

Mirrors will be okay, although every light on the vehicle had to work standard or not!!

Put a bit of duct tape over it while you're getting it MOT'd. Then you don't have one...

iirc auxilary brake lights don't have to work. As long as your main brake lights work they shouldn't fail you. Just to point out all lights fitted don't have to work, You don't need reverse lights to pass an MOT

they will fail it if the light doesnt work.. they class it as if its there then it should work.. just cover it with tape while it goes in and you'l be fine.. had to do this on mine.

Yep rainys right, if its fitted it has to be fully functional. The mirror adjustment shoulodn't be an issue though.
