Fulham fans = shit, dont sing unless their winning if they even sing at all
Leyton Orient Fans = Could hear a pin drop until they scored.
Millwall = Moderately better, but wanna fight all the time.

Not noticed it with any teams outside London.

I'd not looked at it like that actually, Away support is usually a concentration of the most passionate fans, obviously there are passionate fans that cant make it for various reasons too.

in what term

in passion i would say so, in noise, IMO none of the London teams are very very noisy at home, we're certainly better than arsenal and chelsea IMO

yea know what you mean

but at our ground only 1 end is really really noisy, im getting to the stage where i wont go unless i can get down there

but a noisy1000 away fans etc allways seems better than 7000 out of a possible 34000 singing at home etc, if you see what i mean

Oh in that sense we are useless. We have far too high expectations and we think we could do a better job than anyone else in charge at newcastle.

Haven't seen any highlights for yesterdays game so can't really comment for yesterday

BTW -

A Nigerian businessman says he is leading a bid to buy Newcastle United. "The consortium has raised £350m," said the chief executive of NVA Management Chris Nathaniel. (The Times)

I wonder if he made his fortune in phones or on ebay

I disagree!!

I've been to see Chelsea play Fulham (both home and away) and they were singing. Also been to the den to Millwall a few times now and they've been singing and NO fighting/violence at all- in fact the ones I know and the ones I've met at the matches have been really lovely! And also been to watch Leyton Orient last season and this season and they're a bit quiet the fans (compared to other matches I've been to) but still singing! Guess it depends on the crowd and who they're playing etc though?

Having been to 1 home game and 2 away games so far this season, I would say the atmosphere for us Gooners is way better away.

I think its because its the hardcore that travel away from home to the Bolton/Blackburn type games so they are well up for it.

The atmosphere at Bolton on saturday was awesome.
And at the station and on the train home it was just as good.

Away from home our fans are as loud as anyones.

Fulham are documented in past articles that the fans are pretty hush hush most of the time. With the Millwall violence I talk of, some Millwall fans and some Leicester fans got into a scuffle. It all finished and everyone went their own ways. Only to find that Millwall supporters had gone on to a Leicester forum to say theres a load of them going to the Leicester Vs Leyton Orient game to kick off with the Leicester fans for beating up their fans. Fighting is bad enough but to chase it up afterwards and dragging it out is just plain childish.

Leyton Orient fans found their voice only after they had scored, surely they should be chanting their team on regardless of winning losing or whatever, I know with our (Leicesters) away support, the chanting goes on before the match and even more so when we're losing.

its such a shame we have a minority of millwall fans that still think they live in the 70s and 80s fighting each week for the sake of it. luckily theres not much violence anymore and the club for once is on the up both off and on the pitch

But you reckon Anfield is a fortress and the fans unsettle the away team. I'd argue against that too.

If you can find where I have called us a fortress then I'll agree with your above comment.

And maybe the fans dont, just means we are a better team than you when we knocked you out the CL last year.

Everyone judges us on the charvas you see on Sky Sports News.

We all know stability is key and sacking managers is beyond a joke.

I don't think we do think we're the 'best' fans either. I'd say we are generally pretty patient and loyal though, and tbh pretty decent.
