Right here we go.
Im in my 2nd year at uni stuyding Computers and going into my third year next september.
Ive been told Ive got to do a project of my choice.
Im thinking some along the lines of engine management system, ecu and all that stuff.
Anyone know where I can get information on that subject?

ECU's user PIC chips not really much to do with computers, a better subject would be to design software to map ECUs

It'll be embeded software steve.
Thats why i cant see why he'd want to touch it.
its very similar to washing machines and digital clocks.

start simple m8! make up instructions for a "my first Computer" keep it short and simple with lots of pretty pics.

Think about some thing...
selling things (superstore, garage etc)
organising something (confrence, show, time sheets)
etc...
Then think of a system that could you write for it to make it easier
then just keep on expanding on that idea
