His pass success rate is the best on the planet at the moment, but he's tricky also and good in both boxes.

He's not consistent enough for me, look at this season i haven't heard his name mentioned once really.
Anyway my team would probably be
----------------Casillas--------------
-Ramos--Ferdinand--Vidic--Evra-
----------------Essien---------------
---------------Gerrard---------------
-Ronaldo---------------------Messi-
---------------------------------------
----------Torres---Villa--------------
Villa is back on form, and they proved to be a deadly partnership in Euro 2008. It was either Kaka/Fabregas playing behind Torres or these 2 upfront, i went with 2 upfront as everyone seems to be picking a roughly the same team

He has still bene pullign the strings for Arsenal, hes just not makign headlines right now... IMO hes lookign a little tired form his SUmmers exploitations

Thats what i meant about consistency, he was amazing in Euro 2008 but from what i've seen this season hes just doing a mediocre job compared to what he could be
Don't get me wrong i think he's an amazing player and still so young, but at the moment he's not standing out and getting mentioned as the top midfielders. Either its the people he's playing around (i mean come on Arsenal done fuck all to strengthen their squad) or like you say he's just tired.

As I said though, he is still pullign the strings, he was missing in all the games where weve not looked greta and present in all the games where we were... I just dont think hes being mentioned much but hes still doing well for us He'll undoubetdly do better when he builds up a partnership with Song and when we start to get nasri, Diaby & Rosicky back and can get a settled midfield (IMO it will be Walcott Cesc Song Nasri)

Imo i think Walcott is having a lucky spell to be honest, he's being over hyped right now and it'll go to his head. Soon i reckon it will die down about him and Rosicky will get his spot back, Rosicky was good last year and it all depends on how good he is when he comes back.
I'm a spurs fan but i can openly admit that Carlos Vela is going to be a very, very good striker in my opinion. Wenger knows how to pick these young players

Im not sure, Walcott is lookign deadly in every game atm... havign Nasri, Walcott, Rosicky & Diaby will give us good options on the wings IMO
Im sure Walcott will havbe a quiet spell too but he is lookign class atm... and yup, Vela is quality... 4 goals in 7 games for mexico at full In't level

FPMSL Orbbo.
Fabregas is a good player, great infact, but currently their must be about 2 or 3 better players in his position ahead of him in world football. IMO he wouldnt even get on a World 11 bench.
And inspired Spain to Euro 08?! No he didnt He was simply one of a lot of very good players for Spain.

The one who most imrpessed every time he came off the bench...
I'd have him ahead of Xavi, Gerrard (;0) etc.

In that case then I'll say Torres inspired Spain to win it, as scored the winning goal in the final.
But he didnt.

GK: Cech <Edit>
RB: Sagna
CB: Ferdinand
CB: Vidic
LB: Clichy
RW: Kaka
CAM: Fabregas
CDM: Essien
LW: Messi
CF: Ronaldo
ST: Torres
Close call (i.e. my bias) Xavi, Gerrard, Evra
Don't really rate Sergio Ramos, had a quality Euro 2008 but always been massively error-prone, perhaps over the last season he has become a lot better? Dani Alves is just shit full stop, fantastic going forward but piss poor in defence, hate him as much as Roberto Carlos... couldnt think of anyone else but seen a lot of Sagna so he gets my biased nod
Gone for Vidic more for his partnership with Rio rather than his own outstanding qualities, there is also a cronic lack of quality CB's in world football right now IMO
Essien over Masch because he is the better player and also he is such a versatile player
Drogba and Adebayor come close up front but Torres offers more all round IMO
Just leaves GK, there are no outstandign candidates there either IMO... Buffon has not seemed his best lately, Casillas see Sergio Ramos, leaves IMO VDS and Reina, both error prone, VDS especially and no way am I pickign Reina Outside choice, Seb Frey
<Edit> Cech, just

Oh aye, must admit I forgot about Cech... probly would have given him the nod although he hasnt been the same since his head injuries
Clichy/Evra is so close to call I went with my bias and as I said, Sagna was the best I coudl think of for RB given my views on Ramos/Alves
I would always pick Fabregas
