hey,
when i drive the car its fine but as soon as i slow down to a junction or something and drop the clutch to change gear the car loses its idle and cuts out. When i start the car back up agin it keeps its idle for a little bit then the same thing happens again, anyone shed any idea as to what it maybe? o yea and the engine management light has come on...

1.4 16v, another problem is the speedo doesnt work nor the mileage counter i got told that i need a new speedo cable, would this have anything to do with the car cutting out??

When i had that problem it eventually turned out a fuse was blown

I'm sure it was about £60 from Vaux, i'm probably wrong though!
