could anyone with a sportex exhaust please tell me the outside diameter? just so i know the correct size of exhaust clamps to get before mines is delivered

yep was about 1 1/4" iirc on my 1.4 8v

Smaller bored on 12v's iirc. All aftermarket exhausts seem to have different model numbers as such for the 12v, even though the hangers etc would be the same

1ltr is poss 1" iirc
but rest are 1 1/4"

just had a quick check, bit difficult in the dark etc. but it measured at 1 1/4" standard (at the back box) & the sportex back box measures about 2"
i neded a reducer (came with the sportex) to fit it

sound's like you got a backbox from a full system, as they usually have bigger bore pipework

if its the same diameter as my sportex decat section you will need 54mm clamps

Yep that's what I thought, the 12v is obviously vastly superior and needs a smaller bore exhaust to keep the power in that Vauxhall have sealed from the power gods
