when traveling along at a slowish speed now and again the car { pops and bangs } and when you put your foot down its feels as if its got a lag but once it get past this its ok.
i did a paper cip test and it reads 29 fault code.
would this cause this problem i have.

What car? engine size? 
Im asumin its a corsa 
29 Fuel pump relay Low voltage
And yes this would cause your problem

also is the fuel pump relay that purple plug thats next to the ecu.
