I've been told that it does come into an MOT. Unless you REALLY know the tester I think he may fail it. My horn and airbag problem were solved by the connector ring around the wheel. as for the airbag light, you can try putting a 5amp fuse into the airbag wiring, or remove the bulb from the dash. This wont fix it, but will definately stop it failing the MOT if the tester is on the ball

And what would that achieve?
In the event of an accident the air bags (and seat belt pretensioners) would would not inflate. OK so you might pass the MOT but do you really want to be comprimising on safety features of the car? Also insurance company will want to know why you have by passed safety features.
