bought a rev limiter for my c20xe and not 100% sure about the wiring, there is 3 wires, +ve, -ve and coil. I know the -ve can just be earthed anywhere and presuming the +ve can come from any live thats on when the ignition is on but its the wire to go to the coil I am unsure about. Does this just connect the the positive side of the ignition coil?
that looks more or less the same as mine

Posistive side of the coil as far as i can remember?

Possitive pole on the coil, or to the green rev counter wire behind your dash board.

what do these rev limiters do? are they just da same as the original, just limit revs?
