Just wondered what you guys think of him.
I own (with a couple of mates) a Liverpool fansite, so im looking more for other fans opinions, and not 'hes liverpool, therefore shite' id just be interested to see if he's as divisive amongst all fans as he is amongst ours.
Some of our fans thinks hes vital and does a top job, others think hes nowhere near good enough.

As a Liverpool fan....I can see how important he is for the team at the moment, and it seems whenever we play against a top side he is always one of the best players on the pitch for us. But saying that I still think if a topclass replacement was available and we could afford him then I'd like to see us go in for him.
At the end of the day, in his position, he needs to score goals as well as the workrate - and he just doesnt do that enough.
Oh- and what fansite you own?

Was alright a few seasons ago, notably before the arrival of Torres. Hes still decent but I think being played as he is hes being wasted. Good work rate though.

Thats the thing though, upfront where he was pre-Torres and he wouldnt be anywhere near the team as doesnt score enough. But he has somehow found some form in the current position thats seeing him as one of the first names on ours and Holland's teamsheet.

Its called sixcrazyminutes.
I think your post there sums up perfectly what reds think in general, he's a bit like Luis in that he can be shite, but when you need him, theres none who stand up to be counted more.

I was never really a Garcia fan, and think Kuyt brings much more to the game than he ever did for us. Agree about how they both popped up when we need them though.

Other than in Holland where he scored more often than he fucked his missus (which is probably still true given how he looks).

I remember his debut for us, he came of the bench and looked electric, shoot on site electric. He was so dangerous and direct, i was excited as fuck, but now its all gone a bit meh.
1 league goal in a year is fucking desperate. Pennant has more, so did Voronin.

Cracking player, makes up for what he lacks in pure talent with as high a work rate as any player in the Premiership. You need as many of those type in your team as possible, it sets a tempo for the rest to follow.

my impresison of him si that hes a bit fo a donkey, alrtho i have my suspicions thats becaus ehe resembles one...
Anyhoo... in all sriousness, hes a bloody hard worker and every team can use one of them but it always goes back to the cas eof hes a centre forward not a winger, he needs to score goals really but hey-ho, he does a reasonable job out there but i think as cosmo saiys youd rather have a specialist winger there

I happen to think he's important for us and more so than garcia. I know many fans wouyld love a team of ronaldo's but every team needs some players to get stuck in and he's won us more games than we would have done with him on the bench. Fair enough he's frustrating sometimes and maybe shouldn't be included for every single game but while our other players are scoring it doesn't matter if he is or not really and i'm sure he'll bag us some big CL goals at some point this season too.

I rate him quite highly. Hes a good player to have in the side, nothing fancy just a good old fashioned type player.
