no cos i used a random email address and it said it would send a confirmation email to it before i could sign on, so i re registered with a different username and my real email address and it just came up error. so dont think it's zone alarm

oh its cause it already detects uv registered with that ip address have u got dynamic IPs for ur connection? if AOL then u have. log off then back on and ul be assigned a new IP
