That Cupra is nice! Just looked at M3 convertable on auto trader, very nice! But most on high mileage. What are BMW's like?

Nice LCR, that RR garph is mine lol, not to shabby on a standard engine with nowt else done
The LCR handles very well in standard trim, very comfy on a long run, practical with the 5drs but still looks superb IMO
Quicker than you think and even with a ramap you'll still see 35+mpg on the motorway sitting at just above 70

Wouldnt have any of them TBH, the BM is too old, the Evos/scooby/Skyline are VERY expensive to run and maintain. The golf is a good shout tho but its an insurance job which would put me off buying a car at that price

Depends how sensible you want to be, I had 8K to spend a couple of month ago, could have chose from most cars mentioned in this thread. It was making the decision between a better older car or a newer lower class car.
I didnt want to be skinting myself each month on running costs, insurance, petrol, tax etc so went for a 182, picked up an 05 with 10.5k on the clock, top spec, racing blue with recarros, both cup packs etc.
TBH i couldnt be more please with it, it makes me smile everytime i drive it, it averages 36-40mpg so dosnt cost the earth to run, is quick enough not to get bored of easily, still gets looks but dosnt have the 'chav' image attatched like the Type R, is reliable and had £700 left over. It all comes down to your circumstances really and whether you want money left over at the end of the month to spend on shit like xbox's

I DO BELIEVE this is the best option here mate...cheap as the 106 to run...ish...power...quality, fun and general reliability and all at a low cost...then again its not much fast than the 106...but power at 180bhp is sound! and they make me sex wee when they look like the one above
