Hi all,

needing some new tyres soon and been ricing up GT Continentals in a few places to get a competitive price and one garage reccommended a tyre called "Kumho" instead.

Anyone heard or have any experience with them??

Cheers

Well i can get a set of four 195/45/16 for £230 inc fitting tracking and balancing from one place but another place then for GT Continentals about £300+

So due to pennies id rather the kumho but would i be sacrificing quality then though?

But far as im aware it's what the VW Polo come with now though from factory?!

I've just had some Uniroyal Rainsport 2's fitted, and my days they do their job in the wet.

Aren't too bad in the dry, but I expect you could do better

Really shite in the wet though.

I use Kumho ku31's.
I find them fine, all round, good in all weather. They even performed great round Combe

Rainsports are great but definently not cheap
