hi people, does anyone know if a f16 gearbox will fit onto a x16xe corsa, im just wondering because i can get one for dirt cheap as mine is playing up

The F16 is for the big block engine ie. Redtop.

F13 or F15 will fit the x16xe.

I asked why cause we did it and common mod here fit straight foward with engine.
if you look to 1.6or 1.5 Daewoo engines they use the x16xe block and f16wr gearbox !

yes it will fit. Buh you will need a clutch that will fit the boxes input shaft. Or people have used 2.0 8v fly wheels and clutch. Also you'll need big block shafts

the input shaft are same has 24 spline can use same clutch !

input shafts are not the same you need to run a 2.0 8v flywheel and clutch. this is what im doing with an f20
