Has anybody had a problem with wind deflectors dropping?
I've had mine fitted a few month now and when I opened the drivers window the deflector dropped, It's like it's shrunk or something

Gen GM part so i'm surprised to be honest. The car hasn't been driven since fitting so they have been kept in place by the window.
I can't try the passenger side yet as i've swapped the window regulator to electric and haven't wired it up yet.

How would it be the seals? The seals havent moved on mine and the deflector is held in place by the fact it's a tight fit into the door. Mione seems really loose.

the metal clip stays up in the seal when the window comes down, you put it on the window just to force it up in the seal, suppose you could use a screwdriver

make them! they are just a rectangle bit of metal bent in half a bit with a sharp bit on one side to dig into the rubber sill.......
ever seen the little metal things you get with 6x9's for the screws to go into on the underside of the parcel shelf, its just like those!

They're are exactly what I thought of when I seen your drawing, which I'll give you a gold star for
So which goes into the window seal first, The deflector or the clip?

Heko ones stay in aswell but i guess its just a safety measure when driving about
The wind deflector goes in first then push the metal clip up inside easiest way so you dont get in wrong is to put the clip over the window edge (sharp bit facing inside the car) about 3 inches in from the B piller bit. Then wind your windows up or repeatedly press the window button so it forces it up inside. Make sure the metal clip is bent open enough to actually stay up there

I had this problem as well when i first fitted mine, the reason they will be falling out will be because you havent got them in the right position. After a bit of playing about with them mine were in solid without any wedges or glue. did you put them in the way wer you bend em until u think ther guna snapp n then bend em a bit more 2 get em in?

I put them in so they were practically stuck and had to bend them in. They fitted fine for a few month but now it has started to drop.
