Got a decat and backbox on the way, but cant decide on getting a straight through center section.
Is there much performance difference with a straight through?
Bearing in mind I dont want it too loud as I dont want to attract attention from the very bored police up here, who have nothing to do but annoy motorists

Mine has a silencer put in from power flow, sounds shite, gonna get it taken out soon.

Will be raspy mate...
Think best sounding ones I've heard are straight through decat, std centre section (quite big silencer) and decent backbox.
I had a magnex decat on my 1.6 sport, got a powerflow centre section, smallish silencer and a not very silenced back box... just went from deep and bassy to raspy and not that deep.
Got a magnex backbox on now which seems quite heavily silenced and gonna try another straight thru decat though lol

If you getting a decat I'd keep the middle box or it will be stupidly loud

I would have said keep the cat and lose the centre section, but if its for performance then ignore me.
