Depends on certain factors! What kind of car is it? Is it FWD, RWD or 4WD? The power at the wheels is determined after power has been lost through the transmission in getting to the wheels!

that dont always work, fwd or r/r has least losses, f/r next, then 4wd have most loss

Indeed. Well if you have a Redtop mate, it should be between 145-155bhp as standard so that's not too bad losses really!

That's what the at the wheels figure does matey. Flywheel gives max power, atw is the figure after compensating! There is no guarantee'd figure of max power, except if you're given it on the Dyno! But that's pub talk, main figure is the one you have

I've got a printout for mine that reads 159bhp/133.5lb/ft but doesn't mention anything about the wheel horsepower or anything.

Also an XE

At the wheels is accurate, it's the power measured at the wheels, at the flywheel is an educated guess. (if measured on a rolling road, if the power was actually measured at the fly that would be different obviously)

If it's a standard XE the 159 will be at the fly.

It's only 10 lb/ft down on standard.

The majority i've seen the bhp and torque were both very similar, granted there are prob rolling road differences though.
