Just drivin down d road and BANG! front bumper hops off d road done a nice bit of damage 2 d underneath of d bumper is their any 1 out their with some ideas of preventin ? (such a pop rivitin a piece of metal 2 d under neath of it has any 1 got this done and is it a good idea??)

but theres always something dat will make d car bounce even on a good road i just want 2 c if any 1 had some kinda preventin other than drive slower i was only doin about 15 ne way as i was in d centre

Obviously it cannot be avoided on a dual carrigeway but if you were on a dual carrigeway you would be able to see the pothole coming up and then be able to place your wheels either side of it.
On the worse country roads and the like it is unavoidable if you have a very low car, so driving slower is a good way to prevent this.
I wasn't being flippant if it came accross that way.

I bent my wheel on a dual carriageway doing about 50mph. It was dark and there was no street lighting. I was gonna take a pic and then get onto the council but they filled the damn thing in about 2 days later.
