all the brakes need to come off and the big hub nut on the end of the drive shaft. Its not hard as such but you will struggle without a big socket and breaker bar.

Can you not take the bottom ball joint off on these then remove the hub nut to get the joint out?
Might be easier to go tp a scrappies and pay a tenner for a driveshaft,

Thats about right to be honest.
I work for nissan and the labour time for a k11 micra is 1.4 for CV joint!

Yeah no need to take brakes off. Undo the driveshaft hub nut. Undo bottom ball joint and hit with a hammer to brake it free. Lever the bottom arm out and push driveshaft through the hub(may have to turn steering on lock). Then cut old gaiter off and you will have to hit the old joint off the drivshaft. Some have clips but 99% sure they are knock off ones. Then pack joint with grase and putnew gaiter on and re-assemble. Be careful of the circlip on the driveshaft when hitting the joint back on. Not too hard to do really but can be tricky if anything is ceased!

Hardest part is getting the CV off without removing the driveshaft - if you pull it out of the gearbox - get ready for the gearbox oil!!
