I took off the right hand side airvent (corsa B) to paint it, and left the plugs in there so the lights would still work while it was drying...I managed to kick one of the plugs out as i was getting out of the car (the one for the headlights and the courtesy light), put it back in (which i now think might have been the wrong way round!) and it made this buzzing noise, and then the fuel gauge doesnt work at all. I took it back out, put it in the other way around, which made the lights work normally, but the buzzing happened when the ignition was on. Now the rev counter and the fuel gauge dont work at all, and the battery sign is lit up on the dash. Do you reckon i need to go down the scrappy and get a new bit of what i kicked out, or is it something inside the electrics?! Any ideas greatly appreciated! Matt

I think the buzzing is the headlights moving into "standard" position. I had this buzzing problem. To check what way round it's suppose to be, simply look at the slot in the air-vent for that bit. Check your fusebox to see if any of them have blown (likely reason for the fuel gauge and rev counter not working.) Replace all fcuked fuses and................. hopefully it should work.
